Thanks for visiting my blog. I am glad to have connections with someone who is a master, or is it mistress, gardener. Last year we lost everything because we listened to a supposed expert. Killed the whole garden following his advice. So far this year so good. What part of the country are you in? Maybe we live in the same climate. (CCCCOOOOLLLLLDDDDD)
Oooh, those baby carrots! Makes me wish I would have planted some last Autumn so I could have some now. As it is, we are buying them at the store because we just started craving them... (Lovely salad fixings, Claire!)
Rambling Irishman, I don't know if am a garden mistress, more of a slave! I am West Central Scotalnd UK,I have a friend who lives in Seattle and she's a bit colder in the winter and a bit warmer in the summer but more or less we have the same seasons if that is any use to tell you of my temperature/seasons here. I have posted a photo of my old pony, he was an Irish Connemara, west of Ireland area if you have any connections there? Wildside, first baby carrots from a pot in the greenhouse, so nice and worth the effort! Madcapmum, 'lollo rosso' is the red lettuce leaves and 'rocket' is a salad green. seeded in the greenhouse and planted out under a poly cloch, I think I had posteda photo of Tansy hiding in it the day I put it out, http://www.vegetableseed.net/index.html Jim, it was indeed very tasty and smugly fresh out of the garden. Sigrun, all yesterdays!! the lettuce/rocket from the garden under a poly cloch, the carrots from a pot in the greenhouse, the kale and chives outside all winter and just growing nice new leaves.
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works
