i have little pale yellow frittilaries in my garden... just up and starting to make buds. they're the only ones tough enough to overwinter here. i've heard that the bigger ones have a rather nasty smell...? or have i got them confused with something else.
Wildside, it may have a larger flower than a wild one as it is from the Rock Garden Society and they tend to have cultivated show stock, I did buy some other ones but htey haven't come up. Madcapmum, its nice when they come out looking like it says on the packet!! Grannyfiddler, I haven't noticed a smell off them, the ones that havent come up are meant to be a pale green and a plain red, maybe they aren't hardy enough for here, Lowa, I love its patterns, fascinating, it is native here but not very common. Sigrun, your spring season must be warmer than here, but did you not have snow recently?
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

WOW -- Is that flower as BIG as it looks?! (I've only seen tiny little ones that look like this before...)
That first picture looks just like the one in my bulb catalogue! Really beautiful, Claire!
