Growing spinach over winter and avoiding gluts

Video shared from ''Steve's Seaside Kitchen Garden & Allotment''

just to show if you are organised enough you can keep the garden going ..... just to point out that I am not that organised at all.... and will not have much going on during the winter... some of this is being tired out from work, prefering to go and do the pony instead of garden... and just plain old unable to make myself get up and get out to do anything.

dear claire, just so you know -- i've heard from others from that old forum where we met -- PTF -- that this is true -- those who were once very into gardening their own edibles as a passion are now saying -- "I'M TOO TIRED!" (including me) Yet? With just a sprinkle of seed every now & then, and some moisture, you can achieve far more than not! (and at times it may not be as pretty...) so i say, good job!!! i am impressed by the spinach, but also the allium crop you have growing there...

oh thats not my video, its shared from an english grower... its warmer down there too .. so you have to take dates of planting and growth with 'a pinch of salt' and remember that wont' happen here... and i've seeded nothing recently at all.... did some tidying today but not much. too cold!!

we've had record breaking heat here for this time of year and so dry too -- so happy to live in a cooler climate so the heat isn't as bad, but rather welcome... BUT 100% chance of rain tomorrow! i've got to clear the stream bed out so it doesn't flood the yard and street... (trying to motivate myself!).

stay warm, stay dry? --LOL!
