oh, i won't be trying it anytime soon, my oven sort of works... but has no thermostat... so it heats things till they burst into flames........ I can manage to do a pizza by standing and turning it off and back on.... but nothing more complicated.
I have looked at new ovens but failed to make a decision.
also failed to save up the needed money.
hey ho. i'll manage.

hi claire, we sometimes cook our bread on the outdoor bbq (along with veg, etc)...and flatbread is easy to do this way and very simple recipe with few ingredients and also very easy to make. i am encouraging you to try, especially as your oven doesn't work (i used to have an oven that lit on fire too) -- but really, LOL?! i'm such a hypocrite -- i rarely make bread these days... may again soon as winter therapy. i like walking around the house and kneading a dough ball with my hands... it is a good hand workout. as well as meditative.

anyway, i hope you are doing well today. i'm not up to par, but our rain and cool weather have both returned! YAY!

claire... hope you are well there and staying warm and cheery.

today i begin again to blog, but simply bookmarking items just like you... (i hope i don't get too carried away! LOL?)
anyway there is a one minute video of traditional singing from scotland up -- are you familiar with this?

(and can you see my blog? because i tried to make it private, but it seems like it isn't so private anymore?)
