ah, claire -- thank you. this is beautiful. and just what i needed to hear -- today. (i clicked and enlarged it so i could see a bit better, that seemed to work...)
i tried to share this poem but was unable due to whatever impediments. someone else, yet another, was thrown from a horse some time back and actually permanently paralyzed now -- and having panic attacks apparently due to so -- though i think that somewhat obvious? because i would have be panicking too. i wish my family would have let me ride our horses on the farm, but no... they were just to be.
so i shared along today with others the word/thought simply: 'breathe'... even if it not be the same meaning as for me... the least i can do? so thank you? however, this poem you put up felt exactly right for me.
glad it is readable.. looking at it here it looks a wee bitty small.... maybe with glasses on . lol... horse accidents are never good. i've had a few concussions, which has left me some 'brain fog'... and the sore joints from the landings... sorry to hear of a serious accident there, its scary.
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works
