bonnie, she's not as fuzzy as last year, when it was really really cold and drier, this years so wet she's had a rug on for a few weeks now so thats stopped the 'big hair'... she's growing a nice beard though... lol
When I look at the pictures again even the soft little hoofprint is like a heart pointing up. Did you know the Sufi flying heart is point up with wings arching down?
Susan, somewhere I read that the horses hoof is a heart and c-spring... and natural movement in it is essential to the horses health. when it is nailed onto a metal horseshoe the natural movement is suffocated... the whole hoof is meant to flex, the heart-shaped frog is meant to contract and expand and pump with the heart. if I find that article again I will give you the link. I see the sufi heart on an internet search, yes its very like a hoof!
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

They are very beautiful all together in their warm winter coats. Hearts indeed and a lovely soft footprint in the snow.

Cute!
I'm so glad you found that reference and also that you look after Abby in such a natural and tender fashion.
I hope the New Year brings many beautiful blessings your way.
