the sun came out

and I went out to play
This is Teddy, she is 22 and is a semi retired ride/drive horse. Her owners have another horse they drive and compete with, he was out in the field so a photo of him another time.
I am going to ride her occasionally to help keep her stiffness level at bay. I haven't ridden for years so my stifness levels may be increased until I get a bit fitter.
nice, safe, sensible horse. I'm sure we'll have a nice time together.

Lovely horse.

I hope your stiffness eases up along with hers.

Great to know you're riding again Claire! Remember to bring your helmet and maybe the pfd in case of more rain...

Ann, she is lovely horse, I was a bit worried I haven't ridden for so long but she looked after me.
Michael, the canal here has a towpath, possibly a horse/kayak theme? I don't think the rain would bother her much, nice thick coat.

Dragonfly, they do kind of get under your skin and into your life. its very nice to have a horse to visit and nice not to have to muck her out every day!
Crunchy carpets, she's a lovely natured old horse, nice colour too. can you convince your kids they really want to go horse riding? and then you'd have to go too to keep them company?

No probs there..my kids LOVE horses and Caity is born to ride.

I am hoping to sign us all up for lessons in the spring.
