greenhouse on Friday morning, the door was frozen closed most of the week so this high and low covers a few days, dry weather and bitterly cold. bear in mind the greenhouse reads warmer than the outside.
this is from this morning , its warmed up. bringing with it heavy rain and high winds, disruption warning to roads etc...

Oh, dear! Claire! I've been hearing this sort of thing from my family a few hundred miles south. I wish you some coziness. Yesterday it was a dry day so I took a long walk about and found a recent self-published simple book on visiting Scotland. Despite expenses here (and miserable weather there), I am still thinking of coming someday soon... (2025?!?) And have been encouraged by others to do so. I am hoping you wouldn't mind taking a ferry or two with me? (I have no plans, just daydreaming still). You have a lot of Scotland videos posted. Thanks... I see I may never catch up! LOL
2025 is the goal i am setting myself, but, as to everything, am still unsure! i have others to visit 3000 miles away who have asked me to visit in spring, so will likely find a flight from their coast and then wing my way to you... (Alone, caring for animals & overly verbose today!)
photographs recieved. lovely old cat, looks very like my old girls.
sad they are all gone now. Beans keeps me good company.
I keep posting the videos to try to entice you over here !!
I'm hoping to visit my friends in Canada sometime. but have no dates for that either. x
friends moved to near Pass Creek road. but I don't think I'll be able to visit the USA on the same trip.
coming from the UK I would need a visa to visit the USA, I don't have the willpower. I also dont' have a passport yet.
you need a passport to fly from Scotland to England... its mental.
thanks for the explanation for the why not; i forget that sometimes... i haven't applied for my passport yet either... I hear they take a long time to get now... hmmm... but still it is fun to dream on.
