hi claire, i too save old calendars and use them as artwork... too many of them! thank you for the calendar you sent last year -- i forwarded it on this year to my sister-in-law who appears to be a big fan of all things scotland. i'm not sure if she gets the concept (i did not hear back!). this really, just a note to say "hi" as i didn't get my letter/wee package intended off to you... sorry about that. i fear your blog to be a lonely place, but then i see you have another "regular" commenter! someday i hope to see you in person again, but if not, please know, in the real life offline, i always wish you well.
hey wildside, I fully intended to get a calendar off to you this year too, but the financial squeeze didnt' allow purchase or posting of items, so nobody got anything from me....I dont' think of the blog as a lonely place, I often look back at my memories and thoughts, sometimes I'm surprised how my feelings were, sometimes not.... I miss the passion I had for photographing everything, and feel that its something that missed out on , that having to earn enough to live on exhausts all other aspects of living. thats life keep well my friend x
and please know, you do not need to mail anything to me, tho' i challenge myself to do so to YOU! (somewhere that envelope exists, just lost right now...)
relax & enjoy both pleasures and opportunities, how? by simply letting nature beautifully provide and guide. somehow, and significantly, you were behind me coming up with that statement that i try to live life by-- even tho' i know nature is not always our friend... but that means nature is neither always a foe... a ying and a yang! let's look forward to lengthening daylight and spring yet again.
as always, insert a heart herein. as i think we all might need a little more loving kindness... that comes first from within, to ourselves, well, i don't know about that so much, but we should try. good on you for continuing on.
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

this reply somehow doesn't sound like you, but yet...
yes, what you say, that is life somewhat in a nutshell...
and yet! the sun will come out tomorrow (or another tomorrow further ahead). must continue to believe in that concept.
