I just need to put on my  raincoat, and to practice having a glass half full instead of a glass half empty......

OK, thank you for that! Cheers to you! ("Hi, Claire.." sez Rick... Coming out to stir the tomato sauce [that I have been stirring all along] before making his dough ball for pizza to be had for our dinner later tonight...)

This video bit more "swedish" rather than scottish than i would have thought, but ok, we can learn from them too?!?

(the proverb attributed to Swedes being: there is no such thing as bad weather, just not appropriate enough clothing... -- to paraphrase quite a bit!)

Still staying inside and stirring my tomato sauce and moaning about no more ripe tomatoes to be had this year. So, NEXT YEAR!!! As it is always.

Hope you do well today, Claire. Glad you are posting again lately. That lets me know you are still out there somewhere -- no, wait, -- not just somewhere, but SCOTLAND! We all have our pluses and minuses -- glasses more full than empty, a challenge, but better outlook to try and fill the glass.

Dear Claire, This link from someplace you have been before. It is about an hour long, so of course, no patience for it now so I'll try to watch it later -- but what someone did... with a lot of $$$ from somewhere. I think a bank loan, but also private funding?

Still a good thing, none-the-less...

(I have thought of similar, at places you would have seen with me as we as we walked about town. But was put off... By other life matters, perhaps -- no, more not said... ... And not feeling so confident about the loan payoff or community support if I did...)

Yadda, yadda, yadda. However, enjoy if you watch.

looks a great community... its nice but is not really my 'cup of tea'
i think i like to garden occasionally with friends... but mostly like the quiet of my own garden. i do think , nowadays, that my cup of tea is very small... lol

the sum they mentioned was 1.7 million... and they had to pay a deposit of a third and the other two thirds was bank. wheeeew. lot of money. i would say the world needs more people like them.

well, i'd say having a small cup to begin with makes it much easier to fill! LOL back at you... but none-the-less we need to find things to fill it each day (and not over-reach, which would require a much bigger cup to fill...) i know my outlook is different than, perhaps, most? but small can be beautiful.
