a kiss and a goodbye

I was trying to take a close up photo of a wild orchid in the field... instead I have a big kiss from Pardouc.
and this lovely old lady, Lark, who had been in my care for a few months, she was found to have an abscess in the bones of her foot, so she was put to sleep. she hated being indoors and could never face an operation that requires up to a year of rehabilitation. she was a sweet quiet soul, glad she is not in pain anymore.

Natural Horsemanship
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

The kiss makes me laugh, yet the other part is sad...

yes the kiss was very funny, I wasn't even trying to take a photo of him but there you go, and yes its sad lovely sweet Lark has left us but she was well cared for and I never left her. that was important to me.
A smile to you on that with Lark, Claire. I think I understand.
(But I was sorry to see the kiss go goodbye so quickly -- I was quite enjoying it via thumbnail each time I logged in! It is such a great shot!)
