book tag!

I have been tagged by Kati to answer these questions about books.

1.One book that changed my life
Women Who Love too Much, forgotten the author and its currently lent out to a friend in need. We need to learn not to let the world walk over us, over and over again!
2.One book I have read more than once
I have read every book I own more than once, and I'm just working my way round the library.
3.One book I'd want to have on a desert island
A dictionary
4.One book that made me laugh
The Works, selected poems by Pam Ayers.
5.One book that made me cry
A Scots Quair, Lewis Grassic Gibbon, which is three books bound into one volume, I suddenly realise I am near the end and start to cry, reading the last pages through a blur.
6.One book I wish had been written
A book of really working magical spells that do your housework
7.One book I wish had never been written
don't know
8.One book I am currently reading
Winters Heart, book 9 of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I read a lot of fiction fantasy, I like to escape the drudgery of this world.
9.One book I have been meaning to read
The next book in the series of Wheel of Time.

Books are an important part of my life, for learning and sharing.

You did really well on this meme. Pam Ayers always makes me laugh too. When you discover the book that has never been written, please let me know- things are piling up around here. :)

Oooh, I'd like #6 too -- have housework magically done!

I need to find an escape route besides the blogging; I'm becoming far too old, dour and sour!

You'd want a dictionary on a desert island!?

Horizon, sometimes its like that, dont worry. Pam probably has a poem about it somewhere.
Wildside, I have just had to clean manually so obviously still havent found that book. and I am stuck in today , with horrible weather so am blogging to pass time.
Madcap, learn something new every day? pass the time? am I likely to ever be stuck on a desert island?

Other that the women who love too much, I haven't heard of any of your mentions! What fun! Great idea about the magic for housework -- and yet, on those rare occasions, housework can be kind of pleasing. Unfortunately, I usually am frustrated and rushing, so as with anything else, if I'm living in the future, worrying, or in the past, scolding myself for letting all the housework get ahead of me like this, well it's miserable. The women who love too much, reminded me of another: How to Love Men More and Need Them Less. I think that was the title. It has ended up in somebody else's library, but it was quite good, rather buddhist in suggesting love is not the same as attachment, and also encouraging self-love as the first part of being to love men better

Kati, Pam Ayres and the Scots Quair are very British and not particularly mainstream. I am sure theres lots of stuff 'out there' thats never been heard of and I read a lot but still manage to find new authors. might look your up More and Less book, sounds interesting, thanks for the tag it was fun!
