todays doorstep


nice little tulips, scarlet baby, flowering for their second year. and the blue thingmy's the ones with the faded label? anybody know? scilia siberica comes to mind, vaguely, but not sure. thankyou fiona deary for correcting my spelling. . .

the little blue ones do look like they could be scillia... right kind of leaves, but the flowers seem much bigger than mine.

our weather forecast is for -20C next week and more snow... if i wasn't so busy i'd be depressed.

Yes Claire, that looks like Scilla Sibirica to me. It matches the pic in my plant encyclopedia.
Love your pretty tulips and am seriously envious!!

Grannyfiddler, and I thought it was a bit chilly here!! brrr. . . .
Kerri, this is the second year those little tulips have flowered, and I fell I can safely re-lable the scilia and not forget again!
