interesting lactose intolerance article

Mongolian Heritage

thankfully this doesn't affect me, such an interesting article, my own thoughts are 'we are too clean and too far removed from nature'

so there is something to being horsey and gardening.... such as making and eating a sandwich without washed hands..... I'm not off work with any illness as much as everybody else in the workplace.

people are wimps now as well.. going to A&E with the slightest little thing.

I'm tired and looking forward to a week off work from Friday.

ah, that's how it often goes, isn't it? but try to enjoy your time off as much as you can. i think i have cavities, haven't been to the dentist in a few years...
need new glasses too. but can't somehow get myself to go get them now that things are opening up again.

claire, as to your other posts (now deleted)? i keep hoping that you are not planning to abandon everything and live in your car (something i once, long ago, might have aspired to as well )-- but i find such things interesting to consider & contemplate too! but once you go there, there may be no reality of turning back... so?!!?! nothing i know for sure. but please know i want the best for you.

i posted the van life movies to save them for watching. which i have done now... i didn't think they were the best ones so i've not saved them... I don't intend to live in a van... it wouldn't suit the cat. but it fascinates me. i always liked caravans.. but would like something a bit smaller maybe for weekend breaks. not interested in longer holidays because i have animals to look after.. and i like staying in my house and my garden.... xx

p.s. as to lactose intolerance, we're now making our own oatmeal milk here... pretty good. 50:50 blend of rolled oats and a pinch of celtic salt for minerals plus a dab of sunflower oil or canola could work, put in a blender (far too loud but a splurge intended for my mom), and good to go!

some vitamin D oil would be a good addition, maybe flax oil? but in the doing of all that and worrying, why not just buy some milk? ok, why? lactose intolerant...

anyway, we're pleased -- because oatmeal milk added to morning coffee tastes just like cream! (and added benefit: the chooks get to eat the part strained off... the worms enjoy the rest.)
