just coming out, I'm not sure if this counts as the 'first snowdrop in the garden' as it is in a pot in the coldframe. nice surprise as my hand written label just says 'bulbs'!
nice chunky buds so there is a possibility they are double ones.

but mine does not have a lid. I have two sheets of plastic to put over it if I need to use it for seedlings. It stores all my 'doorstep' pots to stop them totally freezing.
Okay... checked that out. Looks very interesting. I think I've seen one or two of them but didn't really know what they were, haha. Can you tell I'm not much of a gardener?
