Tour Tansy is the spit of our cat Felix who we lost this summer. He was six and had had Feline Aids since birth. He was the most affectionate mild tempered cat we've ever had (had about 20 altogether) and sorely missed. He had an enormous tumour in his throat that finished him off. We loved him!
Lilymarlene, sorry you lost your lovely cat, it is so sad to lose animal friends. Peppylady, they are very similar, lots of people ask if they are sisters they are so alike. but they're not
Tansy and Daisy are beautiful. Yes, they do look a lot alike, as stated above, yet I can see the differences too, like the white on Tansy's face is balanced and the white on Daisy's face is all on the left side. Also, Tansy's nose is pink and Daisy's is mostly black. Perfect beauty in both cases!
Lilymarlene... my heart goes out to you for the loss of your wonderful Felix. I have also lost animals that I love dearly so know the pain of loosing them. My current cat, Shadow, was born in this home I still live in, and he will be 16 the end of April 2007. I sat and watched his mom give birth to him and his brothers. When he was about 8 months old his mom was killed on the highway. I was so grateful to still have Shadow, he and I grieved together. Now, with him getting so "up in years" I am trying to adjust to the idea that he will be leaving me one day all too soon. Up until recently he has been very healthy, though one night this September he had 2 terrible seizures. The vet examined him and could find nothing wrong, said Shadow is very healthy. Now the past 2 or 3 weeks he seems to be drinking a lot more and peeing a lot more than is usual. I am starting to worry he could have diabetes. And yet, also aware that he is usually outside every day and now is staying in most of the time, likely because it's winter and he's older and not wanting to go out in the cold so much now... and so I would of course see more than when he goes out. When he goes outside he rarely ever uses the cat box inside, and would do most of his drinking outside too. So time will tell, but I sure am hoping he is still as healthy as he was a 3 short months ago.
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

I sure would have trouble telling your kitty a part.

Alice, my cats are not keen on going out in the cold at all. I hope your Shadow keeps well for a long time to come.
Nice cats Claire, they look like Border Collie cats to me!!! Tommy wants to come and play!
