"Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home!" To my house that is!

Another great photo, Claire. Good to see the evidence that "Benny" the bug is there!

"Ladybird" to you, isn't it?

Just found you blogsite and love the pictures. I would love to have a garden like that but my brain and my hands just don't seem to communicate on the same level. Hope my vegetable garden gets some of those little red friends this year.

Wildside, yes its a ladybird here, Benny the bug? does he have a poem too?
Ramblin Irishman, thankyou for visiting, I love gardening, I don't know if I put co-ordination into it!

No poem as yet for "Benny" the bug, but don't you think he'd make a good garden superhero?!

Wildside , he would, perhaps we should make him one!
Connie, ladybirds are soo pretty, glad they are useful too.

This bug is so cute! Funny they are called Ladybugs when most (or all or something, can't remember, but I am sure my kids know) are male.

I have GOT to get out to my yard and get working on it. It is driving my ten year old bonkers. He has so much energy and has been keeping the grass cut, trimming the edges and weeding in this one area. What ten year old does that without being told to or made to??

Hi Ramblin'!! Did you find Claire's blog through mine?? :)

Lowa , thats ok, I've done that too,I think I can take one of them off, but I'm too scared to try it in case the whole thing goes, no harm in it anyway, computers! perhaps you should leave some vegatable growing books and some seeds in a prominent place and see what he does with them?

i have many, many ladybugs in my yard. due, mostly to the dozen or so Manitoba maples there, which are aphid heaven (aphids being the ladies' favorite food) in trimming the maples over the past few days i've disturbed a good many ladies in spotted red red dresses. i did try not to hurt any.

Grannyfiddler,I am glad something so pretty is a good thing and not a pest!
