more from yesterday

here it goes under another old railway line
this is at Milton of Campsie, they have filled in the old arch bridge with a kind of 'hobbit' tunnel to walk through, you can see the old station platforms on both sides.
another River Kelvin view nearer Lennoxtown.

Thanks for sharing some of your ride with us, Claire! All the traffic outside now, I find myself wanting to be there...

Again, looks very nice -- is it as peaceful as it seems via photo?!

Lovely photos. Nice post. Now I need to look over your whole blog.

Wildside, the old line is lovely to cycle on, under the hobbit bridge there is a layer of broken glass and spraypainted walls, also at the arches there is graffiti, I have been 'exposed to' once by a drunk and sometimes large crowds of boys walk along there giving cause for concern but they haven't bothered me. I should do some photgraphs of either end next week, at Kirkintilloch you come off there and hit a busy main road, well; busy to me, not a multi-carriageway or anything! Mostly I meet people walking their dogs and I stop to chat sometimes, I have been knocked of my bike by a collie and I landed at the feet of its good looking owner-but no romance ensued! and the dog was ok!!
Annie, thankyou and you're welcome!

Oh darn! I was looking forward to future story of romance -- it seems clear the collie was doing it's best to encourage one on between the owner and you!

And, oh? I suppose I should stick my nose in and ask -- and you certainly don't have to answer, by any means! I assume you would have been open to one in this case?! (Boy, I'm feeling silly tonight! It's 1:30 AM here...)

well Wildside, he had a nice dog, obviously healthy and well cared for if not very well trained, so that made him a reasonably good prospect, but I have a long list of necessary's so he may not have live up to the rest! i.e. 1. he must own his own house, not live with his mother or want to move in with me. 2.he has to have a job, not work for his mother and not be a co-worker of mine 3.he has to have his own car, not borrow his mothers and he's not getting to drive mine. . . .the list goes on, I did mention I was single? with cats? . . . .
