life in the garden

I forget things are there sometimes...these little cyclamen showing their lovely dapples leaves and pretty little flowers.
the snowdrops have been out for while and will probably be over soon...unlike the snow....

these little daffodils are always the first ones out, I forget the variety.
and Snap! with Wildside, here's the little iris in my garden!

Those all are very pretty, Claire -- especially that iris -- I'm still waiting for blooms here! (Not very patiently!!!)

P.S. It is a couple Iris like yours and some snow drops now... There are a few white crocus that apparrently I missed as the blooms are drooping...

Just waiting for that first daffodill, then the tulips to follow!

Wildside, I'm impatient for everything to start growing...even the weeds!
Dora, we've not got snow today but you can never tell about tomorrow!!
Alison, think you're getting it much colder than here....the bulbs will survive!

Ooh! Spring has sprung in Claire's garden! Lovely little blooms. I haven't planted any of those pretty iris reticulata yet. Keep meaning to.
We had a warm, sunny afternoon yesterday, but it was just a tease. We're back to snow (just a little thank goodness), arctic winds and frigid temps today. We are so ready for spring!! I'm sure you are too.

Dolly, thats the way of things...
GF, well I've always wanted to learn the harp!
Kerri, theres been a nice day or two here, it hasn't lasted, make the wind and rain seem worse!

Three daffodills have shown there pretty little faces this week -- alas no picture to share.

Looking forward to your updates, Claire! I keep checking for them, but know, now with Abbey, you are a very busy woman!

All the best from here to there.

Well there Claire,
Hope the next place will render some really great people and owners with awesome caregving ability and sense.

I have had my mare for 3 1/2 yrs and moved too many times to count on one hand. It can be a good bonding experience and trust and so forth, to move..yet I rather like to choose when instead of out of great need to ensure safety or proper care.
We have no children so the mare is my daughter-so to speak- I count on my caregivers to hold true to the contract and other verbals agreed upon..but I have now learned..it all gets written down and SIGNED by both parties...2 copies made . May seem exstensive..but, I am tired of liers and cheats that are lazy.
I also have found if a stable is trying to survive on the horse board...no go...they must work off site(or be privately rich-self sustaining) and have great hired help.

Do tell me aobut the next place, if you have the time,
KacyK
PS
Love your garden! We have Daphnie scenting the yard at present with little mini daffodills.
