ta-dah's

this photo won 1st in the amatuer photo at a local horticultural show
this one was second in the novice. I was really pleased and there was prize money too!! I've put it towards new re-chargable batteries for my camera.
and this is copy of my 'blue ticks', which means passes, for the Quantum Savvy Level 1 which I am working on with Smokey, whoohoo! just two to go, but I will need to borrow a horse trailer for no.3, and that might take a while! this is me and Smokey, its a bit blurry as its taken from the wee movie I sent for Assignment 6. he's a good boy!! thankyou Smokeys mum!!

Well done, Claire! Extra treats for Smokey as well. What kind of saddle are you using? It looks unusual to me...

Wildside, thankyou, I was pleased!
Dora, thanks, I'm having herbal tea here as its late and coffee keeps me awake!
Francesa, thinking of you!
Michael, he had two extra apples.. I used my kayak money to buy a treeless Barefoot Cheyenne, so far it fits everything I ride and its sooooooooooooo comfy.

Wow, VERY cool! Love the flowers and that is great about your horseback skills also!

Hi Claire, So you did sell your kayak after all? Mine is living awkwardly under the house; have not pulled it out this year as yet... Sounds like you are staying plenty busy without it, but do you miss it?

we'd only be surprised if you DIDN'T win, Claire. your photos are always winners. the only survivors here, after regular frost for several weeks, are the Rudbeckia.

Lowa, I'm enjoying riding Smokey and learnin new ways of doing things.
Wildsie, my kayak is gone, yes. there is a small backup needing some work to be useable but my shoulder is still giving way so thats it for while yet.
GF, blushing with all the compliments. we haven't had frost yet but maybe soon, really cold this morning.

Good progress on the Quantum Savvy program too. It's always nice to see you on a horse. Smokey is a sweet one :)
Fun catching up with you this morning, Claire!
