from the top the usual 'catface' of the Purple Calabash tomato
underneath its a sort of tomato mutant!!
I'll give it another couple of days to ripen up on the window sill and then see how it tastes, probably great!

Oh, I love the mutants -- don't you?!
(Hi Claire!)
it looks extraterrestrial. but my mouth is watering.
Wildside, I think it kind of fits in with the whole 'alternative' garden thing, other people might not like it but its a welcome thing to me.
GF, outer space tomatoes! great idea!
It is rather hemmorrhoidal, isn't it?
But was it tasty?
Kat
Never seen a tomato like that before.
Coffee is on.
I love your Tom Pix!
How ya been?
I wanted to share with you that Martha is having a blog contest. Perhaps you'd like to join in!
You can read about it HEREand post a comment.
Have fun!

Poetikat, it was tasty but your description makes it sound non-edible!
Dora, I'm hoping that next years tomatoes are better behaved!
Becky, I'm good! like the Martha programme!
Sometimes nature is fantastic. What a tomatoe!!
Hope you have a good day.
Love Elzie
Claire, blame that comment on "The Vicar of Dibley" where I first heard a joke about hemmorrhoids that made me fall about laughing.
Kat
Elzie, nature is wonderful, artistic too!
Poetikat, I like that programme its sooo funny.
That beats my arsed shaped tomato. Yours looks like it's spawning cherry tomatoes.
I love unusually shaped tomatoes. And different varieties. It's the great thing about homegrown isn't it?
