I am still weeding the path

but find myself occasionaly distracted. . .
this campanula latifolia frequently tries to take over the garden, it has been dug up and disposed of numerous times but here it is again!!
although I don't like the plant as an overall thing I find its close up patterning inside and out, very pretty.

cheap and cheerful, yellow potentilla

a slightly less luminous teracotta(or orange, if you prefer!) potentilla.

They're beautiful. We have morning glories over much of the USA and they clamber over everything. Beautiful but enough is enough.

Be very glad you're kudzu free. Can you imagine trying to deal with that?

I remembered this website after I wrote that comment.

Campanula latifolia -- gorgeous weed! (It is a weed?)

Like granny says, I battle morning glory endlessly as well as several other invasives... nothing ever dies here!

I like your distractions, Claire!

Granny, that is a scary weed!
Wildside, it grows up from little bits of root, I think I could eradicate it if I tried harder but the bees like it. there are thistles and nettles too. . .
Sigrun, it looks nice when it flowers, but it grows too big.
