greenhouse clearing

starting the clearout, plants to remove and all sorts of  ''things'' to be tidied up and found a place for... shaking spiders out as we go......

all the fruits , the last harvest, cherry and fat tomatoes, one lemon cucumber, some small peppers
mostly done... plants and buckets removed to the compost, old plastic shelves taken to the dump. still the potting bench to move and clear. hopefully I can wash the glass if we get a nice day. .... or waterproof up and do it on a rainy day... lol

dear claire, good to "hear" from you again... as to spiders? an evil dasterdly chunk was taken out of my arm! fang marks evident. so be careful as you go... despite not really gardening this year -- lots to harvest here -- in small amounts, which is better...

yes, take care... know i think of you fondly & often and hope all goes well for you there. i am glad we once had the chance to meet and you to visit me... (insert a green heart here!)

Claire, have you ever looked into the meaning of your last name Gillies?

(of course, i am very curious yet, and now warn you some day i may well be there on your doorstep! -- LOL!?! but don't worry about that -- no harm intended as probably won't happen anyway -- just know from afar i love both you & rosie -- your veggie garden & casper & all other critters you come into contact with...) Wishing you well from across the miles -- i am so happy to have once had the opportunity to have met you and for that lovely lunch you treated me to at the space needle, satisfying much curiosity, as I am unlikely to ever go there again...

you would be made very welcome!! oh the space needle... I had wanted to go there FOREVER.... so glad we could. and the island was so interesting , loved the little ferry over. xx

:-) thank you for that reply, claire... if only? now to get a passport?!?(lol, but yet considering... altho' imagining other places is a very useful tool to save $ -- my college chum / friend from nz taught me that!) anderson island is now a very "busy" sort of place, judging by how more often the ferry now makes its runs and how long the line is to get on it...
