I liked being introduced to it, but like many videos, it never was finished. I think I've been introduced to this guy & his methods before. But I don't have horses. Once you've finished watching, what did you think of it all?

i think he's a lucky man to be able to make a living with his teaching, he certainly had to work hard over the years to stick to his principles and train horses his way. the 'horse world' is full of traditions that people will stick to wether they are good of bad.. unfortunately a lot of it bad. I do natural horsemanship and hope that I am perceived by my horse as a good person. sometimes Hempfling is a bit too weird even for me but I do think he's a fabulous trainer.

Thank you for adding this, Claire. I enjoyed reading your reply, find it interesting, and yes, I do agree that it is very important that our animals think of us as good people.

I still don't understand "Hempfling" but that's ok, I can let it go. Again, this is because I do not have horses. At least not anymore! May be if I did, I would understand everything more intuitively. I did not see anything strange with what this guy was doing with horses, it made sense to me, but did not see the whole video.
