and it went very well (vicariously, of course) with the rye crackers and chicken salad i had for lunch while i surfed. makes my the little cherry tomatoes i was boasting about look a bit pathetic, though.
Claire, at long last, I finally got my first tomato of the year -- may end up being the only one too... (We'll hope beyond hope that's not the case!)
Come see it, and you will die laughing in comparison to yours here!
Hope all is well there, do miss your company. Old lady kitten is loving the bed you sent... She practically lives in it. I've added a plaid woolen blanket over top and she just thinks that is heaven!
Wildside, very beautiful and very tasty...and very gone!! glad kitty likes her bed, hope she is warm and safe. GF, bet your cherry tomatoes were soooo tasty!! this is the biggest tomato thats ever grown in my wee greenhouse. Lowa, i thought the same at the photo, the tomato in real life looks more tomato-ish though, does that make sense? DF, the heirlooms don't seem to give a big crop but they are well worth the few for the taste of them.
Nice assortment of tomatoes you grew. I'll bet the black type are delicios. I must give them a try. The Oregon variety, is that a quick grower? I've tried one that is, because of its earliness. Personally, I think the longer on the vine, the more flavor.
Looks like you created a monster with the calabash ;)
Do you eat tomato sandwiches with mayonaise? Little salt ~ yum!
Kerri, thats the usual state of my hands! Primrozie, the oregon was much quicker than the bigger ones and very tasty too! much use of mayonaise! no salt though! Becky, too late!! I'm not good a sharing.....
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works
