WOW!! I didn't think anyone grew blue poppies except in parts of Afganistan. Wherever did you get them? Actually there's a garden here in Quebec called the Reford Gardens which has some but otherwise I thought they were very rare. So good for you, Claire!
You and Jodi with your blue poppies are about to cause a garden blogosphere riot of all of us jealous bloggers! They are so beautiful. You are very lucky!
Michael, i purchased the blue poppy plant last year at the Scottish Explorers Garden. not sure how long it'll survive her but hoping it spreads and is happy. Katie, i longed for one of these for a long time and had no luck trying from seed. Wildside, exactly!!
so lovely. true blue is such a rare thing in flowers that it always gets our attention. i have lovely old-fashioned delphihiums in a blue very close to that of your poppy.
Oh, serious envy going on here, Claire! Good for you getting a blue poppy to grow and bloom! Aren't they glorious? I love your astrantia too. And your love-in-a-mist, and..well, ALL your flowers! :) I'm glad you're going to have lots of broad beans. That's one veggie I didn't like as a child. I wonder if I'd like it now. Will have to try them and see. Happy summer!
A lifetime of kind horsemanship, I think we were doing natural horsemanship before it was ''invented''
I have completed Level One with Quantum Savvy Natural Horsemanship.
I am sad I can no longer access the Parelli learning platform, its just too expensive with too many changes.
I've tried some clicker training with good results , but haven't found any one person to wholly agree with. I guess I'll just need to keep trying to see what works

These look fantastic - I hope there's a strong enough wind to blow some seeds all the way down south to my garden :)
