beautiful and tasty too! it doesn't get much better than that.... and who can resist the homely face of a potato? i pre-started some lettuce inside, which has just germinated. i hope it looks this good when it grows up.

What some interesting plants. I never heard of wild garlic leaves but I real like to cook with garlic.
I’m trying to expand my foods that we eat.

Sunday I should have some my flowers posted and a garden report.

Wildside, it was very nice, I'm hoping it'll be fresh salad every day soon!
Grannyfiddler, I sowed teh lettuce very thickly so what I am eating here is every second seedling!
Dora, it might be called 'bear garlic' in the US. http://www.ramsdale.org/ramsons.htm

I try to eat every variety of flower that I can, but I wasn't aware that one could eat primroses...? Really?
