Such a mild winter- lovely to see the hope of Spring popping through- beats away the blues for a bit anyway ;) Hope you did ok with the storms at New Year Claire. Bests
Wildside, thats what I'm looking for, gloom chaser awayers! Madcap, this is the normal time of year for them here, you must be much chillier! Dragonfly, good, are they arewhere near flowering yet? I really like them. Horizon, it is being very mild, the greenhouse, luckily, was sheltered from that wind by the house, a foot further to the left and who knows? Fiona's greenhouse lost a couple of panes.
My snowdrops are peeping through too, as well as the daffodils. BUT we finally have snow this morning. Woke up to a nice covering on the ground and it's still coming down. Never thought I'd be so happy to see snow! Groundhog day is February 2nd. Claire, Ross and I just had tears laughing over the Cookie Monster :) Thank you! That comment link wouldn't work for me but this one did. Strange.
you'll be astonished to learn that i have scilla 10 inches tall growing here. ok, i'll admit they're inside, in a pot on the windowsill.... it is, after all, -25 C here. and the geraniums i wintered in the living room still have a few brave (though very gangly and tall) flowers.

No Snowdrop around here far as I know.
