no i don't own the quilts i have a book named A "MARYLAND ALBUM "PUBLISHED IN 1995 that has pictures of many old quilts in maryland, one of my readers likes quilts and i thought she might enjoy see some of these old quilts.your cat looks like my neighbors cats when they are looking at my chicks.
not to worry, the sparrow is still dancing merrily on the roof, I keep the cats in in the morning and late evening which is when it seems most birds come to the feeders,
well, fur did fly when Tansy came to stay, its reduced to the odd hiss now. unfortunatley it was Daisy, in the picture, who already lived here that got the worst of it, she is too cute and cuddly for her own good!
What a lovely kitty your Daisy is. We just lost our long-haired kitty, Tuxedo to the road this past week. Poor fellow, he was the 'king cat'. Now ginger and white Riley has taken over that post. He doesn't miss poor Tux a bit!
I recognize that look! My Casper had the same look and by the time I ran into the house to get the camera well it was lights out for the bird!!I scolded the cat for two days silly me it was instinctive!!

ReplyDeleteHope that the sparrow stayed on the roof!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... There, there, kitty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitty! I had one that looked similar about 14 years ago...*sigh* I miss her so much.
ReplyDeleteHe's a long haired version of one mine including the two-tone nose, I think.

ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect kitty! So pretty! And looks so soft. I wouldn't mind adding a kitty to our "collection" but our April (cat) would object mightily.

ReplyDeleteAH! So sweet. Primal instinct. You can't deny that, but you can try.
ReplyDeleteI miss your photos of Daisy too.
This is a new comment, BTW, but you can probably tell...
Not so easy for me to see!
